We met some friends at the beach last weekend to celebrate surviving the first week of school. We are trying to hold onto summer as long as possible. And also needed to get out of the house. This virtual schooling schedule keeps us home bound all day long. We all prefer the loose schedule they had back in the spring. But we are slowly getting into our new routine.
After a week of cloudy skies and rainy weather the sun was greatly needed.
I think it was Joel who told me last week that even the skies are sad for all the school kids that week! Ha!
I think that might be our last beach day for awhile of actually getting in the water. Fall weather has arrive and as much as we like having windows open and cool evenings I think we’d all like a few more weeks of summer back.
