Sugar Rush

Last weekend we had a fun filled sugar rush weekend.  Jeff invited us over to his work to bake cookies Saturday and then on Sunday we had friends over to our house to make gingerbread houses.  

 Brent had to wear these elf ears all day.  See he touched our elf which is a big no! They can lose their magic if they get touched.  So Daddy was on the naughty list. But the elf left a note and these ears saying that Brent could get off the naughty list if he wore them all day.  All that Christmas cheer would move him to the nice list. Isn't our elf really nice?

 Norah checks out cooking books each week at the library. She could've decorated cookies for hours.

 

 Next year we will plan staying all day. But that Saturday I had two separate movie dates with two special boys. I had a 3:00 movie with Joel and then a 5:15 movie with Colin.  Joel made sure we left Williamsburg by 1:30 to get there in time.  I don't think I've ever spent that much time in a movie theater but it was worth it to spend time with the boys. I've been so busy with Norah at school that it was well overdue to get some alone time with each boy.

 Then Sunday after church our friends came over and stayed all day. We just reheated leftovers from lunch to serve everyone for dinner.  But we all know the kids mainly ate pure sugar all day!
