Thanksgiving

After Brent and I hiked Dragons Tooth this summer, Colin would ask when he could hike it with us.  We decided over Thanksgiving break would be a great time and between football and basketball games Thanksgiving day was the only day that worked.  Hiking in the morning meant extra pie in the afternoon! Mary, Robbie and Jeff all met us on the trail.

 We got to the trail about 30 minutes before everyone else so  just started since we had the kids with us.  We figured Mary, Jeff and Robbie would catch up pretty easily. They weren't that far behind us because Joel's foot went into the stream right after these pictures. We all laughed and he got upset that we laughed so he started back down the trail..... He eventually turned back around and walked with Brent. But  then on the way down Joel kept Mary very entertained with his stories of BUTT MAN.  I don't think Joel stopped talking once.

 Norah and Colin practically ran up the entire way. Its a pretty hard hike.

 

 

 

 

We didn't stay too long at the top. Mom and Dad had thanksgiving dinner waiting for us.  

It was a great thanksgiving.
