We survived the first two weeks of school. And slowly mourning the fact that summer is over. We finished out the summer trying to get all the things in.
Joel went to Busch Gardens several times with friends
We camped at First Landing with some friends one night.
Norah was the only one who wanted to see the sunrise
Colin entertained everyone with his Camping With Colin campfire stories.
We made it to a Tides game
It's always sad to see summer end. I just love it so much. Even when its a stressful summer like this summer running a swim team, I'm very grateful to be able to spend my summers at home with the kids. There are lots of mommy blogs written about how we have 18 summers with our kids. Only two more with Colin and I hope when he looks back, he has lots of great memories as a kid.
