We snuck away to the Outer Banks for a quick weekend away.
We rented bikes in Corolla for an afternoon.
We rented a boat in Hatteras to take us out to a sandbar to look for shells and to snorkel. To be honest, I didn't think we could really go snorkeling. Its murky water at the beach. But the water was crystal clear and we found a lot of big sea shells.
Colin is so proud of this big conch shell. He rode home with his placed on his lap.
Norah wasn't so sure of me going back to teaching this year but when I told her my paycheck paid for the boat, she was all in for me to go back! ha!
