Colin has been asking all summer to do water balloons. So the other day I brought them out. And spent forever filling them up. Joel kept taking one and throwing his balloon in the grass. "Joel pop it" is what he kept saying so getting a bucket full of balloons took a while.
When we were ready for a water balloon fight Colin looked at me and said "so like what we do now?" (he's been incorporating the word like into his sentences. Not sure where he got it since Brent and I don't do it although I remember doing it back in middle or high school)
It didnt take long for the boys to understand the whole point of a water balloon fight. No one is safe around Colin :)
But it was fun on a hot day
So the next day we brought them back out
They pretended the balloons were their egg babies and they had to pop them for the eggs to hatch.
And now we have the fun job of picking up all the balloon pieces. But it was worth it.
