Our elves are back and this year Joel is part of the magic. I asked him when he knew and he said last year when we didn’t see Santa because of covid and he didn’t tell anyone what he wanted for Christmas. He said after Christmas morning when he didn’t get an Xbox gift card it all clicked for him.
So he is in charge of the elves this year. And it’s been interesting. I caught him writing a note from the elves to give Joel permission to play halo on the Xbox. In his mind I would have to allow it or the magic would be ruined for Norah.
