Wedding Pics

Planning a wedding is stressful enough. Planning one during a pandemic has to be even more stressful.  My cousin has been planning his wedding for over a year and we weren't sure if they would still be able to have it.  Thankfully they were able to go ahead as planned (at least I think so. I'm sure some things had to change and modifications made) and as Norah keeps telling me it was the best weekend ever!
Joel tried to wear those slides saying they were black and white and matched.
Because the wedding was at the science museum we all had to wear masks. The kids were worried that the bride and groom would have to wear it during the ceremony but thankfully the wedding party didn't have to wear masks. What a strange world we live in right now.

I don't have many pictures of the ceremony.  They asked us to turn our phones off. But it was a beautiful ceremony. Sarah was facetiming with Angela and James who are quarantined in a Japanese hotel room. They were trying to watch the wedding on the live stream but it wasn't working at first so they facetimed Sarah. But it caught up right before they asked us to turn off our phones so they could watch from across the world.
Norah loved the dancing.

I told the kids when covid is over we will go back to the science museum so they can see all the exhibits. I didn't think we have ever been but mom said she brought us when Mary was a baby so its been a few years!  Its a really cool building.

The bride and groom.

Before we got to the wedding Joel thought people should see his smile so he drew on some masks.

We don't see my cousins and aunts and uncles enough. One nice thing about having to wear masks if you left your table is that we spent a lot of time sitting and talking so we didn't have to put on a mask! ha! But it was great to catch up and hopefully it wont be as long until we all get together again.
