A week after Julia and the boys came to visit we got to see more friends of Texas. And now my kids think all my college friends moved to Texas! ha! Jon and Emma were driving through Richmond so we drove up Sunday morning to meet them and spent the afternoon letting the kids play at Belle Island while we talked and caught up. It had been 10 years since the last time we saw them! Where does the time go??? And it is really way too long to go between seeing them. It is such a gift to be able to pick right up where we left off and feel like no time had passed since we last saw each other. And the kids played so well together. I wish Texas wasn't so far away!
We drove home late that night. It was a long day but we were so glad we were able to make it work. It was such a fun day. And now we are trying to plan a trip out to Texas to see all our friends.
