BOOed

The first year we lived in this neighborhood we got Booed and the kids were so excited. Since then each October someone starts it and it goes around all month until all the houses with kids have been Booed.  Its a bucket full of Halloween treats where you ring the doorbell and run. Or leave it while the kids are at school and let them find it when they get off the bus. 

 This year we started it and its been fun to see it go around. You put the "WE'VE BEEN BOOED" sign on your front door so its fun to see all the houses start to put those up. Also that way we make sure each house gets one.

We got Booed while the kids were at school. I was out running errands and saw it but left it for Joel to find when he got off the bus. He came running in yelling MOM WE GOT BOOed. He opened it all up but then he said Mom can I put it all back and leave it outside for Norah to find when she gets off the bus too?  So instead of digging right into all the treats or opening any of the items he filled up the bucket and left it for Norah to find.  She came running off the bus so excited since she had seen it on our steps when her bus was coming down the street.  Joel can be really sweet to his sister sometimes.
