We had a low key spring break. Brent was blessed with a ton of hail work but it means we haven't seen a lot of him. He had planned on taking a day or two off for spring break but ended up having to work. Two of his dealerships got hit hard with hail so he's been working from breakfast until 8pm most nights so it was a different spring break than we had planned. On tuesday we started house sitting our neighbors house. They have 4 dogs, 2 rabbits, 2 birds, and a turtle. The kids love taking care of their pets but Joel will complain to the owners how much work it is when they get back. Ha! The bunnies always poop way too much for Joel! But this time their 17 year old dog had a stroke right before they left. The mom and kids were in Ireland for a dance competition and their dad went to Texas for work. I was very nervous that Sander would die on us before the mom and kids could get back to say goodbye but I'm happy to report that Sander started getting better and went from unable to walk and eat/drink to walking and eating and drinking for us. I was so relieved!!! But we stayed around the house those days to keep an eye on him.

The kids and I had a picnic dinner on the beach one night.
We also went to see Elizabeth's new house. We so miss living next door to this family but glad we've stayed in touch.
We weren't ready for spring break to end. It was a nice taste of what summer will be. We are now counting down the days until summer starts!
