Beach Days

We are mourning the end of summer but already headed to the beach last weekend to hunt for sea shells the hurricane deposited (we didnt find any but found lots of waves and really warm water) The water is always warm until October so we hope to get some more beach days in before the cooler weather comes.
We had a lot of really fun beach days this summer. We invested in some fun inflatables so that upped the bay day adventures.  Larry the lobster and Cotton Candy the Unicorn joined us this summer.  Joel has nicknames for his chickens but I can never remember. Its a lot of work to blow them up, carry them out to the beach, deflate them, get them home and inflate them to dry them out but I think they are worth every second of it. And the kids definitely agree!

Julia, Jake and Austin came to visit from Texas. We LOVE having them come visit.

There was this sandbar out in the bay that the kids enjoyed. The water was clear and they found shells and hermit crabs.

Sunsets on the beach are always my favorite.
There was always sand in the bottom of the bathtub and I think that's the perfect way to spend the summer
